Message:"ROCK, HOPE YOU ARE ENJOYING RETIREMENT AND THAT YOU AND YOURS ARE KEEPING WELL.I WOULD
LIKE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR WARRANTY ON THE WATCH YOU DID FOR ME IN NOVEMBER OF LAST YEAR.
IT IS GAINING 30 MINUTES IN A TWELVE HOUR PERIOD. CAN WE WORK SOMETHING OUT? YOU WILL RECALL IT IS A
DTU-2A-3818B 17 JEWEL BENRUS MOVEMENT. THE RECEIPT #1658-8429-4134-7625 DATED DECEMBER 20, 2016 APPLIES."

i informed dan that yes , of course i would honor the warranty. i stated i would have Elijah , whom bought my equipment, take a look at
it seeing that i knew the watch so darn well that i could work with him over the phone and assist him with whatever it required. Heck
the watch was an easy as pie time piece and it was mint seeing that I had it perfected and the problem  it had, running fast, could be fixed
! Simply. Period! I would bet it any day! the balances were available and everything else was like new! Again, Every thing was like
new in that watch period! i knew that period! i had access and still do to every part in that movement on the market I knew where
 to go if necessary
! FACT!!!! It had to be an adjustment because i could bet on my entire family that their were no broken or worn
parts period! And as my thousands of military watch restores beg to prove
, I knew that watch like I knew 70 others  I had restored.
 "
So i informed Dan that we would send it to Elijah. And I asked Elijah if he could re-time the watch!  Would he would simply
 reset the balance.

DAN was a great patron, he sent the watch to elijah. elijah sent a message stating he had received the watch. Mind you, the
watch worked great except it was 30 MINUTES FAST IN A TWELVE HOUR PERIOD. Originally it was losing time, i in
fact had restored the watch Complete. A new main spring was added and it was completely overhauled. In fact it ran slightly
slow and i had informed Dan that it would speed up once the main spring loosened up and it sure did.. so it did not surprise me
that it ran fast after near 12 months! I thought it would do so earlier but not 30 minutes iT could be corrected in A little time!
But then Elijah got his greedy hands a hold of it
and he saw $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

:Elijah Happy Thanksgiving, I just wanted to send you a message real quick and let you know I picked the watch up. I
will be sending you another message in a few days. With a few questions.Talk to you then.
:Elijah

12-05 04:13:46Hello, Tell me about your relationship with the watch? Do you wear it often, when you do wear
it, what are you doing the days you wear the watch. 30 second gain is a little high, but for a watch of this age,
+/- 25 sec is ok with us. But I am still going to try and dial this one in a little better for you though. Watches
perform differently depending how they are sitting, dial up, dial to the side, right, left, down. so that's why I
am asking you what you do when you wear the watch. I am going to try and tailor it to how you perform while
you are wearing the watch.[rock yup here. it began, none of these questions were correct or required  period!!!?
elijah began with his foot in his mouth but i thought let it be.. he only had to set the time & observe  then open the
watch and see why it was running 30 MINUTES fast! adjust the balance !! adjust the balance!! i THOUGHT!-

DAN to elijah It's been a month since I last communicated with you. How is my watch coming along?

Elijah: Yes, I actually started timing the watch yesterday.   WHAT  Sorry for the delay. I wanted to have it back to you a few weeks
ago, unfortunately I had several pressing issues arise- several big investors sent in a few large restorations in early December
. Last week was the first week I could actually start getting caught up from my other work

rock: this was a lie he had no investers in fact  i was trying to get paid also while  he was out fixing real estate!

Elijah:I pulled your watch out today and its on the timer machine being assessed.
 rock
i realiazedhe had done nothing i sent him the link to the online works on this restore and realized
he had done nothing at all his tale was a lie cause he did not  have a timing machine that could asesss why tthe watch was running fast!

dan 2018-01-03 14:05:41DAN Thanks for the update.

dan:
It's been a week now, did my watch survive the timer? Is it adjustable to meet specs? How soon do you think it will be coming home?

rock i find out that  ELIJAH IS STILL fibbing DOING NOTHING AT ALL

elijah to dan: Good Morning, I got the flu and was down for almost 10 days. Today is my first day back
.[remember his set up is
in the house!!]
I will have it ready in 2 days.
I will send you a paypal invoice for shipping.
when i saw this i stopped paying attention andi never checked back caus
e i thought it was done.

but elijah was after  dan's wallet big time

hello
Dan, After going thru the timing process In all 6 positions I noticed I kept getting an irregular beat pattern, [this is a
lie one can determine this in one position]
At first I thought the movement was gummed up from every day
use. Which, it is by the way.

[this was a lie -you see-- because  the watch ran perfect! it simply kept perfect time only it was
30 minutes fast every 12 perfect hours that meant it was a mechanical problem not a dirty"
watch elijah hello caught you bro lying
]

elijah again But that can be fixed with just a service to the movement itself.

[this was a lie because the watch kept perfect time perfectly" 30 minutes fast every 12 hours!" perfect & it did not
 need servicing
it needed adjustment ]

Which if its an every day worn watch its time to get the watch serviced and protect your investment. That's the first thing,
Due to the watch beat jumping around and getting irregular beats I decided to go in for a closer look. I noticed the hairspring
has 2 coils that have moved out from each other, I am almost certain that this is the reason why your time piece is running
this way. We will never be able to get this watch timed or running correctly with this
hairspring in this condition. It will only get worse.

[this was another lie because if the beat was jumping around the timimg would bnever had been so precise! hello
it would never had been 30 minutes ever 12 hours the time would have been all over the placer like crazy you
screwed it up elijah! yup, the watch kept perfect time 3o minutes fast every 12 hours! it
did not need servicing it needed adjustment ]

i have literally have thousands of watches online  that you can see!  do you know how easy it is to fix
coils on a balance? or simply change balance complete which has the coil!

I am not sure if this is the original balance or not? Could be from age, could also be from residue getting
gummed up along the coils and it caused a few of them to stick and from the weight shifting
it caused 2 of them to cross over each other. << come on bs!! you can see easly if it is gummed up

[note, i have proof that i have fixed thousands of balances period i restored this watch and that movement was
pristine!  30 minutes every 12 hours was factual! yet you went and missed the cause and blamed  everything
but the facts  changing the balance complete or the coil ? i was not there but your work was bsl
]

When you first reached out to me about the warranty work , though the warranty had lapsed ?? what did this have to do with it
, with it just being a simple  timing correction I was happy to just take it in and correct the timing for you.
However now we are looking at a completely different animal now. This is not a simple timing correction,

i am sorry, a warranty meant anything at all what ever he needed so what are you saying
you did not call me! fact is it takes ten to 15 minutes to change a coil spring or balance complete
so stop the the bs you did sht you did nothing but  hold the man's watch until you could rip him off

(pOH MY GOD elijah you moved for the kill! And  gave me a curtsey call  he reached out to me my warranty
not yours! it is was simple! you made a mountain out of a mole hill. the watch kept perfect
time due to a problem that made it keep time that was 30 minutes fast every 12 hours? how
you miss that? the key was the balance period! something causing the balance not beat right correct?
it was perfect so no dirt no nothing but that balance hair spring] below is a lie!!!!!

1. The watch needs to be serviced. At that time the watch movement would get completely taken apart and ran
thru a 3 stage cleaning process???. All the keyless work, jewels, wheels, mainspring, pinion would get lubricated.
The hairspring would also get removed -which this is a must at this point because of the way it sits right now, the
watch is running- how long it will continue to run is uncertain, the accuracy of this watch right now just poor.

(it was not erratic you dam fool! it did not require all the bull sht you are saying you owe dan an apology and cash
you ripped him off
ok what bs is he talking about? first, it was running 30 minutes fast like clock work
not poorly? i had completely worked it. it was not running slow or missing time or stopping and
then running nothing said it was going to fail only that that it was running too fast. that did not
mean you scare the hell out  of the mans pocket book this was a rip off if i ever saw one! period.
what is this 3 stage cleaning? u talking about 1952 parts washer!! He is makes it seem like killer
technology! those whom  know we never using that cleaner for these watches!  awesome Vintage
Killer Military Watches like this deserve the
ultrasonic cleaner! I informed Elijah of that fact!!!!
! So if he did what i think he did, he lied to Dan AGAIN!!! Cause that watch never required
the work Elijah stated it did ]

I believe you stated the watch was gaining 30 seconds a day? (i guess dan missed this again?
Elijah once again states seconds & this is what happens when liars  get caught! he never ever
 adjusted anything at all)
My first timing of the watch it was gaining nearly 5 seconds
(note he was always working in seconds).
Now that can be adjusted, but my point is this. We can adjust
and adjust- the hairspring is must be symmetrical or it will continue to run very poor - its the heart of the watch.

(it was never running poorly. that means oddly with no staight time. in this case we had definitive timing! it was
absolute! 30 minutes! which means it could be adjusted! rocks two cents!  rather it was running 30 minutes
fast over 24 hours the daughter wore the watch every day nearly 24hrs!)

elijah's greatest greedy mistake is in this paragraph:

Dan, I have spent 8 hrs diagnosing and assessing this watch for you. I really tried to make up for the lost time as
the last 2 months have just well to say the least very busy. Add my entire house getting sick , its just not what I
was hoping for. I have not even looked your ticket up from when you purchased this watch. Can you tell me
more about this purchase. Was it a restored watch that Rock completed for you? I noticed a few things that
could use some attention. I want sure if Rock just had the watch and you bought it, or if you
were specific on how you wanted the watch.

hello?? did you read the above? He knows that the watch was issued to Dan aboard the USS Coral Sea on
September 18, 1968 and had been continuously in his possession! He completely forgot the history of this
time piece or my own works! do you believe any of it? i informed elijah about this watch, he saw the
original ticket, the warranty, and the restoration history, all of you know what that means! the pictures
of all the work i did, the strip down, the complete build out, the parts, the works, the timing, the buffing,
all the work, the history, everything that i did from start to finish originally and i went over it for him?
instead he goes for Dan's wallet at every turn! While i am believing he has shipped Dan his watch weeks
before he is trying to sell him a strap along with a complete service with parts and a complete overhaul
that he will accomplish by buying parts???? say what? Imagine this? He does not have it running cause
he screwed it up!!! Yet while informing him it is screwed up, he goes into telling him he decided to look
into bracelets????? Which he will offerfor free? WHY THIS?? Even though he knew
just how important the original strap was?

Date: 2018-01-24 22:05:06

NOTE THIS!!! DAN: I noticed the bracelet was in pretty rough shape(Peeling). I decided to look in some o
f the old stock that I had and found several bracelets like the one you have on there now, If you just like
that bracelet I could refinish that one for you at time of Service. I would be more than willing to offer you
another bracelet free of charge just for the long wait that you had to endure. Or I could refinish the one you
have now, So right now you have 2 options. I can put the watch back together , its running, She can wear it
 till it stops running,
[what the fk] which it will do at some point. It may even start to do it periodically then
start back. Once it stops you can send it back in and we can asses it then and address it.

HELLO? DID YOU READ IT? I THINK HE MAILED THE WATCH BUT HE IS GOING
AGAINST EVERYTHING I ASKED HIM! WHERE IT TILL IT STOPS? WHAT ABOUT
THE WARRANTY? ROCK

Or you can have the  watch serviced- 190.00<<<< what does this mean???  I can try to get the hairspring
back into shape- if I cannot get the hairspring back into considerable condition, we will have to start
looking for a replacement  hairspring- 90.00-150.00*** This isn't a part I can just order. I will have to
find it- could be 7 days could  be a couple of months-  Or if you don't want the watch serviced but only
want me to address the balance I  can do that as well. Though I see it foolish to not invest in the service
of this timepiece, But it you just want  me to address the balance I can. I already did some research tonight
, There are 2 balance completes for this movement for sale. Both of them are for under 60 dollars. I will
need to contact sellers though and ask them a few questions. But once those 2 sell I could not tell you when
another one would come available. Just decide what you would like for me to do, You only have to pay
half up front and the rest at time of completion.

OH NO HERE HE IS LYING AGAIN! 190 TO SERVICE WHAT? REPLACEMENT HAIRSPRING
90 TO 150.00?? THAT IS HIWAY ROBBERY HELL A BALANCE COMPLETE WHICH IS THE
WHOLE KIT AND KABOOTLE "WITH THE HAIR SPRING" PLUS LABOR IS CUT IN HALF IS 55 TO 75! AND
CONTRARY TO HIS BS AVAILABLE ? ROCK

I will put yours high priority, meaning I will start on it asap. If I have to buy the part I would need to get
that in full and then you would just pay balance of labor to install.  I will do everything in power to go
above and beyond for you. I do realize that the intake of this watch was not really handled correctly.
Though I know it has nothing to do with the mechanics of the watch itself. I just handled the assessment
and the timelines poorly. Don't get me wrong, we have some guys that have had there watches with me
for over 8 months

WHAT A LIAR 8 MONTHS FOR WHAT THE RUST HE GFOUND WITH MY MICRSCOPE?
ANOTHER SCAM HE HAS BEEN RUNNING! HE WAS SUPPOSED TO HONOR MY WARRANTY AND DISCOVERT
WHAT WAS WROMNG AND FIX IT FREELY AND IF IT NEEDED NYTHING ONLY CHARGE COST FOR
PARTS NO LABOR HE AGREED AND HE SAID HE HAD SHIPPED IT ALREADY!ROCK

But they knew that going into it.<<did they?>> You however  did not, I dropped the ball in telling you
it may be a few months. (had i known dan would be ripped off like you ripped him off i sure as hell
would never had sent him that watch!)
@ So I apologize for.how in the hell can you appologize for
ripping the guy off?? getting more comfortable ripping folk off??  things are starting to run a lot better ??.

you know what realy got me? this bullchit: dan,  we missed "a hair spring last night for "17 dollars".
I almost went ahead and bought it, but was unsure on how you feel about all this and so decided to
just wait to hear from you.

youy are such a liar. if in fact you had any truth in you you would  have spent 17 bucjks and if that was required got the watch
working but that is a lie!
here you have "replacement hairspring- 90.00-150.00***" for an apprentice whom
claims to be a pro , elijah is one of the greatest rip offs. not only is he so  lucky to find great amounts of
rust in watches, so he can order parts but he loves hair springs! now it would be better to invest in a
balance complete. they are available  for this time piece and it is cheaper to replace a balance complete
duh!!!! ROCK

and i noted this:
Did rock repaint the hands or re lume the hands?
this was never a repair., note how elijah tells his
"fibs"
. i never performed repairs only restorations and elijah knows this and every restoration had a
complete picture book that is published online. he saw the copy of this one. i sent it to him
. not only that, if the hands illuminate they have been reluminated.  ROCK
